Kucinich Takes 3rd In Maine, Beats Edwards & Clark
or, Kucinich is most spell-checked word on internet
from Kennebec Journal

AUGUSTA -- Maine Democrats overwhelmingly supported John Kerry in Sunday's caucuses, picking the Massachusetts senator and Vietnam veteran by a wide margin over Howard Dean.

Unofficial results released by state Democratic officials late Sunday showed Kerry earned 45 percent of the vote, followed by Dean with 26 percent, according to totals based on 50 percent of towns reporting. Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich had a strong showing, with 15 percent, Sen. John Edwards got 9 percent and retired Gen. Wesley Clark had 4 percent.

Maine is consistently one of the most independent states in the the US. 15% voted for Kucinich? Cabin fever must be setting in up there.

cabin fever...or pac man fever!

I'm still giggling at the juxtaposition of the words caucuses and kuchinich.
