Doctor Who Has A Posse Dept.- The new Doctor is in
thanks to everyone who emailed me the article!

The BBC has recently announced that Christopher Eccleston will play the Doctor in the new BBC "Doctor Who" television show, which will start filming soon and will be shown in 2005. Here is the BBC article regarding the official announcement.

I do not know much about Eccleston, except that he played the insane British Army officer in "28 Days Later," which I thought was a wonderful performance.

The best part about the new "Doctor Who" series is that it was the dream project of Russell T. Davies, creator of the original British "Queer As Folk." A whole generation of people who grew up on Doctor Who are now prominent artists and in a position to bring it back to TV in a non- fanboy manner.
