Here is a link to the text of the immigration bill I referred to in my previous post. It is HR4437, also known as the "Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immgiration Control Act." The bill was passed in the House at 10:30 on Friday night 12/16/05, and was passed by a vote of 239-182 with 13 abstentions.

If you click the above link, you can see how your Congressman voted. My Representative, Xavier Becerra (31st District California- Democrat) voted against it. If this isn't an example of Congress passing shady legislation in the middle of the night, then what is?
